Preparing For Emergencies

Whther it is a tornado, snow, storm, or SHTF, I want to be as ready as I can be. Although I have done a lot of preparing I thought this course might be interesting!

I'm Getting Prepared

Present for Danny

Danny has always had leftover Thomas stuff from Alex. Never have bought him any bedding just for him!

So last week NaNa ordered Wonder Pet stuff! His favorite cartoon. He goes around singing that song!

I got all three of the animals, Linny the guinea pig, Tuck the turtle, and Ming Ming the duckling.

I got him bedding. He loves the blanket!

It included the sheets and pillowcase. Will get a photo later...forgot.
Also I bought him the FlyBoat last month. I will get a picture of that put up also!

Gnome Bed

Ben has been planning this all spring. He got the rock a couple of weeks ago. We had the landscape timbers. So just a matter of gathering up the materials.
I hurt my back a few days ago so couldn't help but I sat in a chair and supervised! I thought it was nicer than sitting inside while he worked!

I sooo lovy that man!

So far the easy work is done.

The ground is sooo hard he had to use a hammer to tap my pole in the ground! Gently, Baby, gently!

All that's left of the gravel! Ben is going to put it in buckets and store so when I need some due to settling or what ever, I will have it.

Ducky

I got Ben a new ducky for the pool. His fishy from last year wont work.

Chicken Little

The sky is falling! The sky is falling!
And it did..on my head!
Was sitting at my amour browsing the net about 1 am on June 25 2012
We had been talking about getting the ceiling stripped in the computer room for a while due to cracks. This time a chunk fell, on my head! I was wearing a clip in my hair. That made it worse. There was blood all over! I called the ambulance because I did not know how bad it was! Ben was already gone to work. I did call Heather cause she isn't bothered by blood as much as Con is.
By the time the paramedics got there I had put a wet washcloth on my head and the pressure stopped the bleeding.
Heather said it  looked like the prom scene in "Carrie".
Since there was no bleeding Heather gave me a ride to the ER.
Dr. Sundquist put in three staples! Grrrr and NO anesthetic! It hurt! I got the staples out a week later and all is good now! Just have to be careful brushing my hair for a while!

All the stains came out of my favorite nighty so I am happy!

It is soo hard to believe you are three already! We couldn't decide what was your favorite (couldn't find Wonder Pet stuff) so you got Thomas Train cake, Sponge Bob plates/knapkins, and (not pictured) an Elmo balloon!

Aunt Connie brought you a whole bag of goodies! Squirt gun, bow and arrow, bubble machine, this HUGE sidewalk chalk pencil...I don't remember what all else! Oh and a nerf pistol lol....

NaNa and PaPa got you your own scooter so brother couldn't take his!

I think Gerry, Josh, and Justin took first place though! Not fair, Gerry had little boys to help shop! Dinosaur Train!

PaPa had fun writing on the Etch a Sketch! Good NaNa, got a picture for you!

GRRRR I forgot to get a picture of Mommy's present! You got a whole collection of hot wheels cars! You sure love them things! You always have them everywhere!
