I Big Enough

Went to Hardee's for lunch. Danny informed me " I big enough, I carry bag". Well, ok then lol..

Kitten Times Two!

On Sept 3 here come a lady from the apts. down the street. Found this kitten in the yard. Of course they can't have animals. She looks about 4-5 weeks old..really young!

And I did say I wished I had a colored kitty, not black.

So meet Loki, yes I know, male name, female cat. I don't care I love the name!

She supervises very well too! Teaching Danny how to hold a little kitty..he doesn't do well, so he can't hold her anymore. Just pet when someone else holds.

                                                       Supervising BabyLoves nap time

And making sure she gets lots of shuteye herself!

Kitten

We have been adopted AGAIN!  On the 18th of August, Connie found this little one in a tree in the yard of the abandoned house next door.

Now known as MissKit, she looked to be about 6 weeks old,
You will now find her in various posts lol..
Her supervisory position is multi-purpose

Watching fish

Supervising Danny's shows on the tablet, very important!
And making sure my material is kitty softness approved!

Doll Halloween Outfits

Now for a long post lol...

I want to make outfits for 18 inch dolls for Halloween.
Based on this one,
I have the dress/skirt/shirt/hat patterns but needed the corselet pattern.
The only one I could find online was for this particular outfit!
So I decided that I would make my own pattern.
I really don't like making patterns! They make me think lol..

So I thought..and looked at the pic..and looked at other...
and came up with this..
Plus ruffles...
First try..not too bad..
But kinda sloppy looking.

So I made the ruffles twice as wide or more, added a lightweight interfacing to all the corselet parts but the ruffles,
Not bad at all!
Of course I had to have a long skirt to make sure it looked good!
Rofl..DON'T LOOK AT THE SEWING!! I made this skirt in about 10 minutes. Just stuck on some elastic and threw on a ruffle! It is really cute though as long as you don't look at the sewing on the inside lol..
Now to make some dresses! Some will have black tops, some dresses. All will have the skirt. I even got some black tulle to put under them lol.. I got tights to make tights for the dollies for Halloween too. Now to GET BUSY!
Lots of material to choose from!

5 Dolls to make for...I want to get them done before Halloween lol..

Wrist Wallet

I found a pattern for a wrist wallet. I want one for bike riding. I hate putting it in a purse in the basket behind me cause I can't hear it. If I put it in my pocket it falls out. So looked and looked. Did one and it was too flimsy for me. So I gave it to Jenny. She loved it.

So I made one from jean material. I love it! I thought I would put a magnetic snap one it. I didn't realize I would need to put it on the lining material so it wouldn't show outside. But the material would have been too thin anyway. So I put it on and then was trying to figure out how to cover it. Connie had found the bee applique and of course it just fits my hobby! I love this! I also use it to carry the phone around in the house when I have the headphone on.

I am thinking of a little pocket so I can carry my headphones in it too.

Doll candleabra

I found this in the dollar aisle. It was a cake topper that I had Ben cut the bottom off. Looks really cute! Now for candles lol..

4th of July Doll outfit

Ok...little late but I got it done lol..

I took this pattern

And made a top. I didn't use material for the sleeves. Ribbon is much easier lol...
I just used a basic shorts pattern.

I just relized I didn't put the star buttons on ...grrr...
